About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at MIT’s Senseable City Lab and affiliated with the Department of Geophysics at Stanford University.

Before that, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Geophysics Department and the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department at Stanford University. I received my Ph.D. from Stanford University,  M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, and Bachelor's degree from Central South University, China.

I am very passionate about making our city and infrastructure smarter and more intelligent. My research interests include applied geophysics and structural health monitoring using vibration sensing and fiber-optic sensing, dynamics of vehicle-structure interaction systems, near-surface imaging, physics-guided machine learning, transfer learning, and multi-task learning.

In my spare time, I love to eat good food, hike around, build plastic models, and play video games.
